ABSTRACT CONCEPT MODELS
Materials used: Styrofoam block (left). Cardstock paper, bamboo skewers (right)
Influenced by Toyo Ito's Museo Internacional Del Barroco, geometric planes are curved and twisted in order to form an interconnected datum where users navigate through the interweaving paths.
To convey the ideology of fluidity meets geometry, the form takes inspiration from melting ice caps. Symbolizing the mortality and impermanence of the users' experience at the temporary resting space of Deliquesce, melting ice caps similarly remind of the temporary nature of life.
